The beauty of craftmanship

The steps that make each of my products unique

  1. 1

    The clay gets wedged several times to ensure a uniform consistency and remove air pockets on the inside as well.

  2. 2

    Throwing and refining process. The clay balls get shaped on a potter's wheel and rest for 2/3 days. Then they get refined and left to dry for 7/12 days.

  3. 3

    The ceramics are fired at 970° in their first dry stage, using the so called "bisque firing". Then, they rest and cool down in a turned off, closed oven.

  4. 4

    The products, on their last creation stage, are coated with food-safe waterproof glazes; and then fired for a second time at 1250°.
